Now that the 2010 election is over…

So where does this blog go now that the election of 2010 has been decided and Lynn Woolsey will continue to represent the 6th District for the next two years? Simple. This blog intends to track what our congresswoman does in these two years and to comment on matters that she, in my opinion, mishandles and, when possible, to give her a thumbs up when she represents us well.

The election of 2012 will be here before we know it. Whether Rep. Woolsey runs again next time or not, it is important that we voters keep her accountable until then. And in 2012, I hope that District 6 will make the decision to elect someone who is responsible fiscally, who is not a big government advocate, and who understands that we cannot keep doing “business as usual” in Washington D.C. Unfortunately, Rep. Woolsey fails all three of these tests. But the voters have spoken, and we must look to the future.
