Calling itself “the most open and accessible record of government spending ever to exist (in 6 sq. ft)”, here is the link to a “visual guide to where your tax dollars go.” You can either purchase a paper chart to put on your wall or you can navigate the image onscreen. To actually read details online just enlarge and move around with your cursor or direction keys.


I found the above through this article entitled “Federal Spending, Visualized” which also provides links to other graphic means of envisioning the budget, including a simulation by the Committee for a Responsible Budget which I will discuss further in my next post.
