I didn’t until just now. Where did Rep. Woolsey go? To Israel. According to this report on The Moderate Voice, she and four other members of Congress travelled there in hopes of meeting with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. However, the prime minister snubbed them, even though two of the representatives were Jewish Americans. The group may still meet with “Likud’s Miki Eitan, Minister of Improvement of Government Services” and opposition party leaders. Allegedly, Mr. Netanyahu refused to meet with them because of “the quintet’s association with J Street, which is sponsoring the trip.”
This article is an opinion piece, not strict journalism, and author David Schraub is not hesitant about evaluating the trip on a political basis according to his own perspective. Read it and decide for yourself whether you think Mr. Netanyahu was correct in not seeing the congressional delegation.
